Muscat Cycling would like to welcome you to the club website.

 

Muscat Cycling is a nonprofit organization dedicated to cycling and cycling related activity.  We share the passion of cycling and the love of discovering Muscat on two wheels.  Based in Muscat, Oman, our members have varied interests, abilities and come from various places on Earth.  There cycling interest ranges from ultra-distance, racing, mastering the hills, triathlon and some just for the fun of it.  Our member comes from various nationality, different ability which make it an interesting blend.

 

Muscat Cycling events include the weekly Friday rides around town which varies from the hilly, awesome view the Hotels ride, to the pancake, coastal fast and furious Al Seeb ride.  In addition to the Friday ride there is also the Saturday ride and other rides during the week (visit our calendar for update)

 

Muscat Cycling also organize few annually classic rides such us: The 360 km Muscat - Nizwa ride, the Centurion, the Salalah ride, The Sifa Ride and last but not least following up the Tour of Oman.  In addition the club also organize mix event such us Run & Ride in conjunction with Muscat Road Runners and Triathlon.

 

Please contact us if you would like to join or you are in town for a visit, our membership is free of charge, all you need is a road bike and a helmet.

Club History?

The club was formed in 1987 by a group of cyclist working for various organization in Muscat.

Currently the club has more than 200 memebers on the email circulation list with around 50 active memebres who participate on the weekly ride and various other events that the club organise.

To Join One of Our Rides

Your will need a road bike, helmet, water or sport drink and various cycling gear.  Please inform the leader of the ride that you are new.
